The Details

Details we ask of you

  • ALL Black Dress Code

We ask that ALL guests wear ALL black, please!

    To put it plainly:

Gentlemen: Please no white shirts or dark grey suits…total blackout. Think Johnny Cash or Bradley Cooper in the Hangover. Black on black on black.

Ladies: Please no color print on top of a black background. Think Taylor Swift in her Reputation Era, solid black. Or Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffanys, solid black. Very mindful, very classic…very demure.

If ya can’t tell, we are hoping for a solid all black aesthetic for the wedding and your ensemble helps accomplish that! Plus, black looks stunning on everyone! Also, all events will be indoors so heel height is up to you.

  • Learn "Love Story (Taylor's Version)" by Taylor Swift

It’s no secret that we are avid swifties (well, Madi is and she converted Jason…happy wife, happy life, right?)

Don’t worry, we won’t be playing Taylor all night…but we do ask one favor of you…

Learn the words to “Love Story (Taylor’s Version)” and when you hear that start to play, we want y’all to give it your all! Especially during the bridge :)

  • Parents Night Out

We do ask that you find a sitter for the kiddos as we would hope to keep this an adult focused wedding.

This way y’all can fully let loose and celebrate with us!

  • Utilize Uber

We ask that everyone avoids driving themselves to the wedding.

Parking is extremely limited and we will be charged for excess vehicles brought to the venue.

Plus, we want you to enjoy yourself to the max and not worrying about having to drive home after!

  • Download the app POV

This is an app that we use and love!! If you’re unfamiliar, it is basically a disposable camera app! We will create an “event” that you will join at the wedding by scanning the QR codes that will be located at each table. Once you join the event you will have 25 pictures for the entirety of the wedding. The pictures you take on within the POV app will be viewable and savable by everyone at the wedding who joined the “event”. It is a great way to capture the entire reception and afterparty from everyone’s “point of view”…get it, POV? The catch? You cannot see the picture until the next morning! Talk about snapping the moment! It’s a lot of fun and we cannot wait to see what you captured from your perspective!!
